The Municipal Court Department ensures compliance with judicial orders on all Arizona Revised Statutes and City Ordinance citations or complaints written within the city limits. This includes maintaining effective control of criminal and civil traffic matters, issuance of domestic violence and harassment orders, misdemeanor violations, as well as issuance of search warrants. The Court conducts pretrial conferences, trials, civil hearings and is involved with the Victim Rights program funded by the Attorney General's office.
